Cameron Sinclaire at BIL gave us a great talk about Open Source Architecture: From TED Prize to reality (video) Watch it, learn about it, spread it and why not go for it !

"Couple of years ago I got called up… and their is this guy Chris Anderson on the phone, he said : Congratulation you won the TED Prize. Of course my first reaction was. Who is this TED guy and why is he giving me a prize ?"

About his talk "It has been two years since Cameron Sinclair won the TED Prize and the birth of an idea and website called the Open Architecture Network – the world’s first open source (access) site for architectural solutions to humanitarian crises. This is a critical look at whether it is working. Also a brief look ahead and at the 2009 Open Architecture Challenge: Classroom which launched the week before at Davos."

Cameron Sinclair (b. 1973, London, England) is the co-founder and ‘chief eternal optimist’ (CEO) for Architecture for Humanity, a charitable organization which seeks architectural solutions to humanitarian crisis and brings professional design services to communities in need. wikipedia
